Background: In the barren-lands, tales spoke of tauren sages reaping the essence of dirt. Their consciousness melds with the brown beneath them. The loam becomes the conduit of their mental thought and reality. These warriors were feared for they could summon massive ruptures at their mere whim. So tremendous was their power that their magic leaks out of the earth violently with every spell. Sadly these sages mysteriously faded from the land. When the World Tree was threatened, couriers searched for these mighty ones but found just one. A young adept, Raigor Stonehoof, seeks battle to weave new tales of these shamans.
My Way To Play ES:
He is a strenght hero but he is not a tank! he is an spellcaster
he relies on spells and support more than anything.
he can take 5 heros alone but he is still support so i play him like this.
Pros:
-Lots of stun
-Very Powerful ultimate (can take a team)
-Fissure its large
-Perfect Support at team fights and ganking,even running.
Cons:
-Lack of mana
-Slow MS for a ganking hero like him at early levels
-If not Stun right you can screw up all the gank
-Enemies Can target you all of the time cause of your stuns
-Not a good farmer
Why Playing This Hero???
-FUN its the only thing that matters .
-Great Support for the ones that likes to win or at leagues.

Echo Slam
Raigor sends shockwaves shooting through the ground, dealing damage ricocheting to nearby targets for additional damage.

This is all you need to be effective. ES is poor farmer anyway and kills will be his main gold income. oh also if you want you should carry a TP. in my personal opinion i dont like to buy them. i only buy TP for defing my lanes or for returning to the base (like anyone else) but i always buy it at goblins shop.
Luxury:
(Only if you got your arcane Arcane Ring)
Shivas For mana And more AOE
Heart of tarrasque for HP regen so when you initiate you wont die in 2 secs
Travel so you can defend,farm and have more map awareness
Refresher orb its just GG (i mean using Echo Slam with refresher)

this is used when youre really lacking of mana but in my opinion i dont use it if i use the first skill build then theres no problem only a bottle to be effective.
Needing Disables??? Why not getting this! (more MP regen + More Strenght And Hex)

:is often gotten on him as well, at least in pubs. Everything vanguard gives to ES is waste for it's price. Firstly vanguard is crap item overall and viable only on few certain heroes. Secondly ES isn't good farmer and if he spends 2,200 gold on Vanguard he won't complete his, much more important, build.
STRATEGY
Laning:
ALWAYS DUAL! or at least at the most cases cause Youre a Melee Hero that gets easily outfarmed by a good combo as lesharc + sven
Early Game
Just Last-hit every creep on your way and play deffensively till youre enemies are Entrusted and then kill them when their def is down (always combo with partner for doing this)
Mid Game
You are your team's main initiator and your role is to blink in first and cast Echo slam then your team will finish the job. Beware of silencers and DoT (damage over time) spells as they disable your combo or prevent you from blinking in.
Late Game
Most of things remain same. Try to get Refresher/Shiva/Guinsoo depending on current game situation and your play style. You should have BoT by now to counter push/defend. Still you are first to blink in and initiate. Hope other team's carry won't rape your team.
Best allies
First of all, ES should never lane alone. Always choose some disabler, ranged if possible. Personal favorite lane partner is CM as they will rape most lanes without problems together.
Ranged disablers
Personally I prefer laning with those as they can cover you while you LH and their skills synergy well with your own. Lion and CM are, in my opinion, two best lane mates for you. CM is better tho, since her great aura allows spell spammage and total lane domination.
Melee Stunners
If there is really no possibility to lane with ranged hero/disabler you should at least get melee one (notice that this should be really rare and impossible in any organised game). Two melee heroes are bad since you won't have anyone to cover you while you LH and you will get harassed to death.
Stone giant
This is more of an fun mention but Tiny can toss you right in centre of enemies allowing you to place perfect ultimate. Also, he can be good lane partner, if needed.

Why laning with him well if you dont like him youre a complete dumbass!! is the best lane partern on Earthshaker!. JUST THINK ON CHACKRA MAGIC SPAM!.
Worst enemies

Silencers
Silence. Stops you from doing your role for it's duration time. You should try to initiate before they get chance to silence you.

DoT spells
Very annoying since they prevent you from blinking in because Kelen's dagger can't be used. Watch out for those closely.

Magic immunity
BKB/magic immunity does not stop your ultimate initial wave but prevents echo damage, which makes your ultimate such a great one. Also prevents Aftershock/Fissure. Try to catch them off guard and cast Echo slam
HOW TO ECHO SLAM!
Always, Always, Always blink at the middle of the enemies so Echo hits everyone. After doing it your combo starts
Echo + Fissure + Totem + Hit = RAMPAGE!!
it doesnt work all of the time but at least you'll get 1 or maybe a triple kill... or you wont kill anyone and your allies will rape em
(never get pissed because of this remember youre not a carry!)
Fissure Heroes at fog of war
well if you have play with mirana or pudge then this wont be difficult just try to know where is your enemy and then pwn him without looking at him. its a real satisfaction
(fissure has 800 range remember it)
Ganking with fissure
well most of the ganks you will be there supporting with your block/stun so you'll need to know how to fissure.
Tips:
- take a look to the place of the trees, cliffs, etc.... so you can block them right
- always try to cast fissure in front of enemy but i really mean in front! so you dmg him,stun him and maybe confuse him.
- try that fissure ends next to something so it blocks the path completeley
- always be sure of what youre going to do because indecision screw up the completely gank.
- and the last but not least NEVER EVER !!!!!! BLOCK YOUR ALLIES!
